Our Story

Newnorm was born over a dinner conversation — inspired by Norman, a man of timeless style, and the belief that true style never goes out of fashion.

I'm Kate — a fashion designer with over 25 years of experience, from the creative energy of LA to the bustling streets of New York, and now the picturesque town of Marblehead, MA. My journey in fashion began early, shaped by my dad, an architect with an eclectic eye who filled our home with mid-century modern furniture and antique treasures. Those childhood shopping trips — and the vibrant energy of couture houses like Courrèges — lit a fire in me that never went out.

As the fashion industry undergoes rapid change, I believe in the power of innovation and transformation. Newnorm is my answer to that moment: a brand built on the idea that style is not about what's trending — it's about expressing your unique aesthetic, regardless of current fads.

What We Curate

Every piece is hand-selected for exceptional quality, unique character, and modern wearability. We look for designer labels, fine materials, rare vintage silhouettes, and pieces with a story worth continuing. If it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't make the edit.
